Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Torreira has spoken out about his pending transfer to Arsenal after leaving the rest of his teammates and flying to London to complete a medical.

The Gunners have been keen to land Torreira for some time now and it's believed that a deal worth around £25m has been agreed with Sampdoria.

"I was very happy to leave for Uruguay with my team-mates", Torreira told Telenoche, "but this is a good opportunity and I don't want to waste it".
