Caribbean islands brace for weakened but risky Tropical Storm Beryl

A tropical storm warning is in effect for Dominica and Guadaloupe.
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - Tropical Storm Beryl moved rapidly westward early Saturday, heading for the Lesser Antilles at the eastern entrance of the Caribbean Sea.
Given the development of the storms with this disturbance as seen by satellite, the National Hurricane Center says there's a high 70 percent chance of developing into at least a depression.
Tropical Storm Beryl continues to weaken as it nears the Lesser Antilles.
Beryl is the second name on the list and the first storm to form since May when Subtropical Storm Alberto moved up the Gulf of Mexico. Tropical storm-force winds by Saturday evening extended as far as 45 miles from the storm's center.
