"The photographs were taken by Matt Holyoak at Clarence House, following Prince Louis' christening", the palace tweeted.

The royal family have released official photos from Prince Louis' christening day.

The first photo features Will, Kate and their three children along with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Prince Charles and Camilla and Kate's family, including Carole and Michael Middleton, James Middleton, Pippa Middleton and her husband, James Matthews.

If you look over above Prince Harry's head in what would be the corner of the room, there is a portrait of the Queen looking over the whole family.

Prince Louis was christened earlier this week and the royal event was the source of much media attention.

Time for a new era, says Ronaldo - Portuguese star explains Juventus move
Remaining at Real would have been another option, but it seems that neither Ronaldo nor the Spanish giants were amenable to that. The Ronaldo narrative always suggested that he would only ever leave Real for a return to Man United.

The photo is Meghan's first official royal portrait since her own wedding photos were taken back in May. One shows only members of the royal family, with Charlotte holding her baby brother's tiny hand.

Mr Holyoak told BBC News that "everyone was so relaxed and in such good spirits, it was an absolute pleasure".

Inside, there was plenty more to document, and photographer Matt Holyoak got it all on camera at Clarence House, following the prince's baptism.

The Cambridges posed for the first time as a family of five. Princess Diana sits alongside the Queen and the Queen Mother, while Prince Charles, Prince Philip, and other friends and relatives including the Queen's cousin, Princess Alexandra, and Diana's mother Frances Shand Kydd, stand behind them.

The day after the christening, fans were delighted to get another glimpse of Louis, Charlotte and George, who watched the RAF fly-past from the window of Buckingham Palace. "I only hope I have captured some of that joy in my photographs", Holyoak told The Daily Mail. The sweetest of the portraits puts Kate and Louis' special bond on full display as she gazes down adoringly at her third child in the only outdoor shot.
