Samsung Electronics has recently introduced the Galaxy Note 9 "phablet", which is reportedly aimed at attracting younger customers. Pricing starts at $999.99 so it is not for the faint of wallet or purse, however there are buy one, get one (BOGO) offers available at Best Buy to significantly soften the blow.

After launching its flagship device the Galaxy Note9 at a high-flying event in NY yesterday, Samsung announced that the device is available for pre-orders in India. Pre-order customers can get a Gear Sport, which usually costs INR 22,990 (~$333), for just INR 4,999 (~$72). No 256GB this time, from the looks of things, but it was also revealed that the 128GB model has 6GB of RAM while the 512GB comes with a monstrous 8GB. In case you own either an HDFC Bank credit or debit card, or you have HDFC Consumer Durable loans (CD Loans), you can get a cashback of Rs.6,000.

In terms of specifications, the device features a 6.4-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 1440x2960pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.

The Galaxy Note 9 will be made available in four colours: blue (with yellow S Pen), lavender, copper and black. You'd think that would be enough on-board storage, but you can double that up to 1TB thanks to a microSD slot that supports 512GB.

Samsung even boasted that it controlled its Note 9 presentation using the banana-a-like stylus, before announcing that it plans to open up the SDK to developers so functionality can be built into third-party apps.

The agency says Sunday night that the Ranch Fire is now 23 per cent contained, and the River Fire is now 58 per cent contained. The fire burned slowly for days before winds suddenly whipped it up last week and drove it furiously through brush and timber.

Along with the image the company also tweeted, "We took a leap when we launched the #HuaweiP20Pro, we're all about real upgrades that will make a difference everyday like a triple lens camera with 40mp, 5x zoom and much more".

Perhaps the device's most interesting feature is the AI-powered Flaw Detection, which aims to let you know if images aren't quite as good as they could be. The S Pen now comes with Bluetooth connectivity, adding more functionalities than ever before. Sadly, it carries support for Quick Charge 2.0 apart from wireless charging.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 camera specs has a dual 12MP Camera and 8MP Front Camera. The pre-booking of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 can be done via Samsung's official eShop.

'You can use it to take photos from any angle, ' she said, referring to the fact the stylus can be used as a remote shutter button for the main device.

Samsung's Note 8 was one of the best phones of 2017, yet I couldn't help but think it felt a little tame. That means, during the setup of your phone, you will be asked for your Spotify login details and the music streaming experience will therefore be completely set-up without you having to download an app manually.
