The campaign of his opponent, incumbent Sen. Ted Cruz and Democratic challenger Beto O'Rourke has topped $100 million, making it the most expensive Senate race in USA history. The social media network showed that $256.4 million (R3.6bn) was spent on political ads since May.
This is more than double what Cruz has raised, which is $30 million in the same period.
The second biggest spender, paying $3.1 million for 50,148 ads, was the Trump Make America Great Again Committee, according to the report.
