The Duchess of Sussex due to give birth next spring.

Theories of a rift between Kate and Meghan were brought to the fore by a bombshell claim made by a source who spoke to the Daily Telegraph, citing an "incident" in the build-up to Meghan and Harry's wedding in May. Just a few months later, the couple announced their pregnancy and embarked on their first royal tour Down Under.

"Kate and Meghan are very different people", the source added.

Though some have alleged that a "royal feud" is the reason for Meghan and Harry's potential move away from Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (AKA Kate Middleton), Cosmopolitan US reports that the move is all because of an in-law possibly moving in-Meghan's mother Doria Ragland.

That said, Kate and Meghan haven't had a specific falling out.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex-better known as Meghan Markle-and her husband Prince Harry have been in something of a pickle over their current living situation.

"Harry and Meghan are incredibly happy and deservedly so".

As the Palace maintained its radio silence this year, Thomas' attempts became increasingly desperate, and - perhaps inadvertently - resulted in him criticising the royal family and spilling personal details of his interactions with Harry to the tabloids.

While Kate was around 21 when she started dating William, Meghan was 35 at the time she met Harry, giving her many more years outside the royal bubble than her sister-in-law.

This Christmas also holds particular significance for Meghan.

Prince Harry and Meghan, who returned earlier this month from a 16-day tour Pacific tour, now live in Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace in west London. She usually lives there for a month over Easter and for a week in June, according to the Royal Family's website.

Meanwhile, sixth-in-line Harry's relaxed attitude toward PDA with new wife Meghan is likely the result of the fact he's pretty far down the list of heirs, so has a little less pressure to strictly adhere to royal protocols.
