The storm dumped more than a foot of snow in several parts of Missouri and almost two feet in one city.

St. Louis was expected to get another half inch of snow Saturday night and perhaps two-tenths of an inch on Sunday, CNN's Shackelford said.

"At this point, it is just going to head out to sea once it exits here this evening", Chenard said.
