Reports reaching Asembi.com indicate that Helicopter carrying the Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has crashed.

Osinbajo cheated death when the chopper conveying him to a campaign rally in Kogi State, crash-landed in Kabba.

"The NAF wishes to state categorically that the helicopter that crashed in Kabba does not belong to the NAF or 011 PAF".

He narrowly escaped death after his chopper crash landed shortly after take-off in Gwagwalada area council, June previous year.

The cleric recalled that the Vice President had a similar experience in 2018 while visiting the Nigeria Customs College in Gwagwalada, Abuja.

He wrote on Twitter, " We are safe and sound! We believe that God will continue to keep us and Nigeria safe even as we go higher.

Osinbajo and all the occupants on the chopper survived the crash continued on the campaign afterwards.

"The leadership of CAN is grateful to God and rejoice with the Federal Government and Osinbajo".
