The lower house of the British parliament on Wednesday approved legislation which would force Prime Minister Theresa May to seek a Brexit delay to prevent a potentially disorderly departure on April 12 without a deal. May is said to be aiming to compile a new draft Brexit option, and if it passes the House of Commons, to ask the European Union for another Brexit delay.

In a hastily arranged statement from her Downing Street office after seven hours of chairing Cabinet meetings on how to plot a way out of the Brexit maze, Mrs May said she was seeking another short extension to Brexit beyond April 12.

"If passed. this bill would place a severe constraint on the government's ability to negotiate an extension", May's spokesman said.

The two big political rivals plan more talks Thursday aimed at finding a deal that can be put to the House of Commons to pave the way for Britain's departure from the European Union.

The two sides made a decision to meet again on Thursday following no breakthrough from their two-hour meeting on Wednesday in efforts to break the current Brexit deadlock.

Deputy leader Tom Watson, who spoke at the People's Vote rally last month, warned that the party would "not forgive us" if Labour's negotiating team failed to secure a public vote.

With the United Kingdom poised to leave the European Union, one basic question has loomed amid the complicated debates over soft borders and no-deal exits: After Brexit, would Brits be forced to get a visa to visit the EU?

He said individuals with a public platform had a responsibility to speak in a way "that is temperate and is not in any way going to inflame people's views".

But they're fraught with danger for the premier, who suffered two ministerial resignations Wednesday over her outreach to the "Marxist" Labour leader.

Corbyn said Labour would present May with its conditions for Brexit, which include a close economic relationship with the bloc through a customs union, maintaining high environmental standards and protecting workers' rights.

According to PFT , this doesn't mean that the league will fold, but "it seems to be moving in that direction", the report says. Instead, McMahon made a decision to restart his own league; it is scheduled to launch next year.

UK Parliament rejects alternatives to May’s Brexit deal
Nick Boles, a Conservative MP who had proposed the Common Market 2 .0 plan, announced he was leaving the party after the vote. Refining them down to four, backbenchers voted again on Monday, hoping to find one solution that majority could agree on.

Corbyn is under pressure from some in his party not to agree on a Brexit deal without ensuring that it can be confirmed or rejected in a new referendum that also offers the option to stay in the EU.

May said on Tuesday she would seek a delay that is "as short as possible" to the current Brexit date of April 12, having repeatedly said she did not want Britain to have to take part in European Parliament elections on May 23.

If that fails, No 10 will move to holding a series of votes in parliament on options, including a runoff between her deal and alternatives such as a customs union, while agreeing to abide by the results.

Prime Minister May has lost any authority she may have had. Many Brexit-backing Conservatives were livid at Mrs May over her overture to Mr Corbyn.

British Minister of Wales Nigel Adams resigned from the government and Conservative Party whip after failing to agree the latest Brexit strategy of Prime Minister Theresa May.

A Brexit-related vote in Britain's House of Commons on Wednesday ended in a tie, the first time that has happened in a quarter-century.

Former Brexit minister David Jones asked: "Does it remain the position of the Prime Minister that the leader of the opposition is not fit to govern?"

He added that the Labour leader was "also extremely unsafe on security matters".

Ms McDonald said: "It was quite a detailed conversation, where we set out for her the consequences of a crash Brexit".

Shadow Brexit secretary Sir Keir Starmer confirmed the idea of a confirmatory referendum would be discussed in the second round of talks.
