The Nova Scotia Court of Appeal has denied Christopher Falconer a new trial.Falconer was convicted of first-degree murder in the death of Amber Kirwan in January of 2014.MORE: Guilty verdict in Amber Kirwan murderThe 19-year-old vanished after a night out with friends in New Glasgow, N.S., on October 9, 2011. Her naked body was found bound in a shallow grave in the nearby community of Heathbell a month later.
