Modi Kicks-Off Three-Way Trip With Terror Stricken Brussels


In the backdrop of the terror attacks that shook Brussels last week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the dangers posed by terrorism and said the the United Nations should address the threat or else the global body would be rendered irrelevant. “Having experienced terrorist violence ourselves on countless occasions, we share your pain …” Meanwhile, a day after scores of people were killed in an attack in Lahore, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif cancelled his Washington visit where he was scheduled to attend the Nuclear Security Summit.
